Baltimore Ravens

The Ravens had the best defense in the league last season, allowing the fewest points of anyone. They had a top-three defensive unit in the NFL in five of the last six seasons. They also recorded the most sacks in the league with 60 and allowed the lowest passer rating to quarterbacks.

So, do they need Micah Parsons?

Well, first of all, every team in the NFL needs Micah Parsons. An established 24-year-old superstar edge rusher doesn't go on the market too often and every team, especially Super Bowl contenders, will try to trade for him.

As good as the Ravens' defense has been, they could certainly use more pass-rush help. Kyle Van Noy had an incredible season in Baltimore in 2023 but he is also 33 years old. Odafe Oweh is solid and promising but he is nowhere near Micah Parsons' level.

The Ravens' defensive line is elite thanks to Justin Madubuike and Michael Pierce as the interior defensive linemen and one of the best safety duos in the league in Kyle Hamilton and Marcus Williams. It's hard to call any part of Baltimore's defense the weak link, but their pass rush could certainly use an upgrade.

That's where Parsons comes in. He would immediately bring the Ravens defense to the next level.

Baltimore has the 30th overall pick in this year's draft and still owns their first-rounder next season. Both of those picks plus a young player with upside could get the deal done for both sides.
