Dud: Michael Gallup

Unfortunately, one player who didn't get to take part in the passing attack's success in Week 2 was Michael Gallup.

The receiver was an almost complete no-show for the second straight game, recording just one reception for three yards versus the Jets. He was barely any better in the season opener, finishing with one catch for 10 yards against the Giants.

The most disappointing part of Gallup's performance was the fact this should've been a contest where he stepped up. No. 2 Brandin Cooks was ruled out due to a knee injury, clearing the way for Gallup to reestablish himself in the WR pecking order. Instead, Lamb made things happen while the team was shorthanded, making up for Cooks' absence by himself.

Even tight ends Jake Ferguson and Luke Schoonmaker got in on the action, recording a receiving touchdown each. It would've been nice to see Gallup rise to the occasion instead of falling by the wayside.

Gallup's decline in production is a serious early concern for this passing attack.
