3 Teams Who Could Still Sign Stephon Gilmore in Free Agency

Carolina Panthers
There was a ton of smoke about Gilmore heading back to Carolina this offseason but nothing came to fruition yet. The Panthers have reportedly been interested in a reunion but perhaps the veteran defender wants to be in a more competitive situation, but there is still time for the sides to come to an agreement.
After four productive seasons in New England, Gilmore was traded to the Panthers in 2021 and appeared in eight games there. They weren't able to retain him as Gilmore signed with the Colts in the 2022 offseason before being traded to the Cowboys a year later.
If Gilmore is willing to sign with a rebuilding team, the Panthers presumably would offer him the biggest role. In a cornerback rotation consisting of Jaycee Horn, Dane Jackson, and Troy Hill, Gilmore would immediately have a starting job.
It all depends on what the one-time Super Bowl champion prioritizes in the next stage of his career. The Panthers could theoretically offer him the most salary and the biggest role but if he wants to add another Super Bowl to his resume, then the next team on this list offers him the best chance.
