The Dallas Cowboys wrapped up their organized team activities and mandatory minicamp for the summer until they reconvene again on July 22. The training camp will be the last chance to evaluate the roster before teams make their final cuts ahead of the regular season.

For the last couple of weeks, the Cowboys had a chance to evaluate the roster. With newcomers, rookies, free agency signings, and tryouts, head coach Mike McCarthy and his staff were able to get a better sense of the rotational battles for next season.

These workouts didn't bode well for a few Cowboys on the bubble. Here are four players who will likely lose their spot in the rotation, and possibly the roster.

Nahshon Wright, CB

It is shocking that the former third-round pick is still on the roster. The Cowboys shocked everyone by reaching for Nahshon Wright in the 2021 NFL Draft and this gamble didn't work out well for them.

Wright played 50 defensive snaps for the Cowboys last season despite the fact that they suffered significant injuries to their cornerback rotation. Currently, Dallas has Trevon Diggs, DaRon Bland, and Jourdan Lewis ahead of him in the rotation. Veteran CJ Goodwin and rookie Caelen Carson are presumably higher on the pecking order as well.

Considering how little Wright has shown so far in his career, it is difficult to see him still having a spot on the 53-man roster. Perhaps injuries or surprisingly bad performances could change the dynamic here but the former Oregon State standout is firmly on the bubble.
