We made it guys.

Opening day is finally here and it is time for the Texas Rangers to hang a banner, get those rings, and begin their 162-game campaign.

Now, with opening day just hours away, it is time for some predictions on how the 2024 season will go for the defending world champions.

#1: Lineup

Who knows what Bochy has up his sleeve for opening day; and now with Langford and Carter both in the mix has thrown another wrench into lineup construction in the best way possible.

I would love to see Evan Carter in the leadoff spot, but I do not think Bochy will move Semien or Seager from the 1 and 2 spots to kick-start the lineup. Assuming Adolis remains at cleanup personally, I wouldn't mind seeing Langford in the three-hole which would move Carter down to 5th and Jung to 6th or vice-versa.

With the amount of depth this team has from an offensive standpoint

That being said I think the lineup for Opening Day will be the same as it was for the first exhibition game against the Red Sox but with Eovaldi on the mound.
