The Dallas Cowboys came away with the win in Pittsburgh on Sunday night but had to make additions to their injury list. Rookie Marshawn Kneeland, who had taken a larger role in Micah Parsons and DeMarcus Lawrence's absences, exited the game in the first quarter and never returned.

Cowboys EVP Stephen Jones said on Monday that they have their "fingers crossed" that Kneeland is not out for the season. That is a concerning prognosis. Even if the second-round pick isn't done for the year, this suggests that he will be out for an extended period of time, most likely landing on the injured reserve list.

Considering that Lawrence was placed on IR last week and Sam Williams is missing the entire season, the Cowboys have a clear need for more depth and quality at the defensive end. Whether Micah Parsons will be available in Week 6 is still unknown, increasing the need for a trade or a free agent signing to improve the pass rush rotation.

Let's take a look at some options the Cowboys may have.

Haason Reddick, New York Jets

The All-Pro defender is arguably the best player currently on the trade block along with Davante Adams of the Raiders. Reddick was traded to the Jets in the spring in exchange for a third-round pick but has yet to make his debut with his new team.

Reddick is looking for a contract extension but the Jets are playing hardball. As a result, the 30-year-old edge defender is sitting out while accruing fines.

Whichever team ends up acquiring him would have to give him the lucrative deal he desires. He may be too expensive for Jerry Jones but he is a massive upgrade that could catapult the Cowboys into the next tier of contenders. He hasn't missed a single game in the last two seasons and amassed 27 sacks for the Eagles.
