Jadeveon Clowney, Carolina Panthers

Another veteran Pro Bowler who might be on the trade block is Jadeveon Clowney. There haven't been official reports yet about the Panthers going on a fire sale mode but considering they are 1-4 and not going anywhere, that should happen before the trade deadline.

The Panthers signed Clowney in the offseason on a two-year, $20 million deal. He hasn't been setting the world on fire in Carolina this season but then again, who is?

The 31-year-old has stayed healthy and played in 59% of defensive snaps through five games, amassing one sack, 2 QB hits, and 12 tackles and earning a 56.1 PFF grade. That is nowhere near the level he was at with the Ravens in 2023 but he is clearly still an impactful player. If the Panthers are willing to part ways with the experienced defender for a mid-round pick, the Cowboys should seriously consider it.

Azeez Ojulari, New York Giants

The Giants got back on track on Sunday with a win over the Seahawks to improve to 2-3. This may force them to hold onto this core for longer. Plus, they will obviously be reluctant to do business with the Cowboys.

However, it's clear that they should move on from Azeez Ojulari. The talented pass rusher has seen his snaps significantly reduced this season after the Giants added Brian Burns in the offseason. Ojulari has only played 37% of defensive snaps, a significantly lower number than the 58% he played in last season. He has one sack, two QB hits, and ten tackles for the season so far.

The 24-year-old has some untapped potential as he has shown what he is capable of when he registered eight sacks as a rookie. Now, he is in the final year of his rookie deal. The Cowboys can buy low on the former second-round pick and get him under contract on a bargain deal.
