1. CeeDee Lamb, WR

Full disclaimer — the final player who could be on the trade block for Dallas should not be.

CeeDee Lamb was incredible in 2023 with a league-high 135 receptions. He also set a franchise record with 1,749 yards and scored 12 touchdowns through the air. He was utilized as a runner as well at times with 113 yards and two touchdowns on 14 attempts.

Lamb is now entering the fifth and final year of his rookie contract and he wants to cash in. The wide receiver market is exploding and he wants a deal in the same range as Justin Jefferson, who is averaging $35 million in his four-year, $140 million deal.

The Cowboys used to spend money like there was no tomorrow on players but with more influence from Stephen Jones, they're now one of the more cap-conscious teams in the league.

They've paid their stars but often do everything they can to use the media to try and force them into taking hometown discounts. They even openly blamed Dak Prescott for being inactive in free agency, saying his $40 million per year contract limits them.

If they're hesitant to pay a quarterback, there's an even greater chance they'll decide not to pay Lamb. Instead, they might be willing to see if someone will send multiple draft picks to free up cap space and allow them to bring in more options, rather than focusing that much money on one player.

It might seem like a crazy idea to do this but remember, this is the same team that tried to replace Dez Bryant with Allen Hurns and Tavon Austin. They even said they could see Austin getting "one or two dozen" touches per game. So anything is possible.
