The 2024 NFL regular season is officially starting around the league. The NFL started off hot with two thrilling matchups on Thursday and Friday.

Now the focus shifts onto Sunday as there will be 13 games played. The Dallas Cowboys will be traveling to play the Cleveland Browns at 3:25 p.m. CT as they look to start the season off with a big-time win.

This offseason wasn't quiet by any stretch for the Cowboys, especially surrounding CeeDee Lamb. But both sides came to a resolution on Aug. 26, when Lamb agreed to a four-year, $140 million extension, making him the second highest-paid receiver in the league.

Now that Lamb is back in the building, he cleared one last hurdle and will be ready to play Week 1.

Cowboys News: Dallas Activated Ceedee Lamb From Exempt List

According to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network, the Cowboys have officially activated wide receiver CeeDee Lamb from the exempt list and he'll play in the season opener on Sunday.

Although this was an expected move, this was just the last step Dallas needed to get their star player back on the field.

Last season with the Cowboys, Lamb ranked first in the league in receptions (135), second in receiving yards (1,749), and third in receiving touchdowns (12).

Dallas' offense isn't the same without Lamb in the fold so having him out there against a talented Cleveland defense was a must.

In his lone game against the Browns in 2020, the Oklahoma product reeled in five catches for 79 yards and two touchdowns. Now he'll look to replicate this performance on Sunday.
