The injuries have piled up this week for the Dallas Cowboys, especially on the offensive line. After right guard Zack Martin and center Tyler Biadasz were limited or DNPs in practice, left tackle Tyron Smith was added to the injury report on Saturday with a knee issue.

The latest update on this trio isn't exactly the most encouraging.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports Smith "is the most likely to go," but Martin and Biadasz are both true game-time decisions. Their workouts before kickoff will determine if they do play against the Arizona Cardinals.

It's safe to say there's a good chance at least Martin or Biadasz don't suit up. With the two essential lineman battling ankle and hamstring injuries, respectively, the team will likely exercerise caution and focus on the long term here.

Being without Martin or Biadasz (or both) would be a big blow to his O-line. Martin's been stellar to begin the year, recording zero penalties and not giving up a sack over 133 snaps, according to ProFootballFocus. His excellence as a blocker in both the passing and run game is what makes him arguably the best guard in the entire NFL.

Biadasz is also part of the no-penalties, no-sacks-allowed club, and having the steady presence at center is key to this offense. He has the rapport with quarterback Dak Prescott, allowing this unit to operate smoothly every drive. Replacing Biadasz with a backup could suddenly disrupt this offensive attack since the synergy with Prescott won't be nearly the same. That invites plenty of potential for back-breaking penalties or even turnovers if snaps aren't handled how the QB wants.

At least the Cowboys have been able to plan for the possible absences of Martin and Biadasz in practice this week with both guys sidelined for the majority of reps. Hopefully Thomas Bass and Brock Hoffman are prepared in case their numbers are called.
