It's been a frustrating offseason, to say the least for Dallas Cowboys fans. They've seen their team let impactful players walk out of the building while doing nothing much to improve the roster.

The Cowboys were clearly laser-focused on the NFL Draft and they made a quality pick in the first round to bring some excitement back to the fanbase.

They originally had the 24th overall selection but traded that pick and a 2025 seven-round pick in exchange for the Detroit Lions' 29th and 73rd overall selections. With No. 29 overall, the Cowboys snagged Oklahoma's Tyler Guyton. He'll slide into left tackle and replace Tyron Smith in 2024.

With Day 2 of the draft slated to start at 6 p.m. CT, the Cowboys will be on the clock three times and have a Dallas legend announcing the picks.

Cowboys News: Dallas Has A Former Great Revealing Their Picks On Day 2

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport disclosed who will be announcing each team's selections on Day 2 of the 2024 NFL Draft. For the Cowboys, legend Chad Hennings has the duties on Friday evening.

Hennings played with the Dallas Cowboys from 1992-2000. During his tenure there, he was a three-time Super Bowl champion (XXVII, XXVIII, XXX) and was an impactful player during those runs.

In his nine-year career, the 58-year-old finished with 269 total tackles, 27.5 sacks, and five forced fumbles. He spent his entire playing career in Dallas and now has the opportunity to reveal who will be playing for the team in the future.

The Cowboys filled a massive hole on Day 1 and have the chance to do it again on Friday evening.
