The Dallas Cowboys continue to be heavily discussed throughout the offseason. First off, they are America's Team. Secondly, Jerry Jones constantly adds more pressure onto his group.

After the 2023 season ended in disappointment, Jones said the team would be 'all-in' this offseason. That ultimately, wasn't the case, as the Cowboys were extremely quiet on the free-agent market.

Their biggest additions came via the 2024 NFL Draft but that is a slippery slope for a team that wants to compete for a Super Bowl.

In addition, they have contract extensions looming for Dak Prescott, CeeDee Lamb, and Micah Parsons. Management has failed to lock down any of these players, leading to unnecessary drama around the organization.

Brad Gagnon of Bleacher Report dropped an article with some way too early predictions for the 2024 trade deadline.

In that piece, he believes the Philadelphia Eagles are the clear favorite to win the division next season, while the Cowboys took a step back.

If the Cowboys start slow this year, they may look to move on from Prescott to gain some value before letting him touch free agency.

Gagnon names the Seattle Seahawks or Las Vegas Raiders as two potential destinations if they are contending for a playoff spot in spite of their quarterback play.

The QB market has significantly ballooned over the past couple of years, with Trevor Lawrence and Joe Burrow making the most annually at $55 million.

If Prescott and the Cowboys can't agree to an extension and the 30-year-old touches the open market, he'll certainly shatter that number. In addition, Dallas may want to gain some assets instead of letting Prescott walk for free.

Shipping out Prescott would create another problem for Dallas, but if ownership believes time has run its course, Prescott may be on his way out.

Which is something most fans would probably be against, but you never know with these Cowboys.
