The Dallas Cowboys have been one of the most talked about teams throughout the offseason. That comes with the territory of being America's Team and having owner Jerry Jones constantly saying things that become headlines.

One thing that Jones said was the organization was going to be 'all-in' but that didn't transpire. They failed to extend any of their stars including quarterback Dak Prescott.

The organization and Prescott had a mutual understanding not to adjust his contract before the 2024 season.

Now with training camp getting underway, Prescott revealed he's thought about his career outside of Dallas.

Cowboys News: Dak Prescott Isn’t Afraid of the Future

Prescott said, "I'm gonna say it. I want to be here, but when you look up—all the great QBs I watched played for other teams. That's not something to fear. It may be a reality for me one day. It may not be my decision."

As a fan, this isn't the news you would want to hear. Prescott may not be a Top 3 signal caller in the league but he's still a very effective playmaker. He's easily a Top 10 quarterback.

He's been the starter in Dallas for the past eight seasons, logging a 73-41 record. Last season, he had a stellar year, putting up career-highs in completions (410), completion percentage (69.5), passing yards (4,516), and passing touchdowns (36).

The QB market continues to grow and the three-time Pro Bowler is slated to hit the open market in March.

Joe Burrow and Trevor Lawrence are currently tied for first in the league at $55 million annually. Prescott will certainly shatter that number as a free agent if Dallas fails to extend him. He might touch close to $60 million a year.

We've seen all-time greats like Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, and Aaron Rodgers suit up for different teams.

If those guys switched clubs, it's possible that any quarterback can. And Prescott could be next in line.
