It's that time of summer once again. Teams around the league are heading into the training camp as they start getting right for the upcoming campaign.

The Cowboys traveled down to Oxnard, California and all players had to report on July 24. After owner Jerry Jones said the organization would be 'all-in' this offseason, that wasn't the case.

They didn't extend any of their star players and entered training camp with wide receiver CeeDee Lamb holding out.

That isn't ideal but around the league, a former Dallas quarterback just landed a workout with training camps just starting.

NFL News: Ben DiNucci Has Workout With Pittsburgh Steelers

Per Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2, the Pittsburgh Steelers brought in former Cowboy Ben DiNucci for a workout on July 23.

The Steelers have a brand-new quarterback room that features Russell Wilson and Justin Fields. Kyle Allen and rookie John Rhys Plumlee are also on the roster.

DiNucci was selected in the seventh round of the 2020 NFL Draft by the Dallas Cowboys. As a rookie, he appeared in three games for the Cowboys but started once. He lost his lone start against the Philadelphia Eagles.

In his NFL career, he has gone 23-of-43 (53.5%) for 219 yards with zero touchdowns and zero interceptions.

He was selected by the Seattle Sea Dragons in the opening phase of the XFL draft in 2023. During that season with the Sea Dragons, he led the XFL in attempts (374), completions (272), passing yards (2,671), QB rushing yards (315) and was second in passing touchdowns (23).

Now he looks to get his foot back into NFL doors.
