The Dallas Cowboys have the biggest brand in the NFL, so that makes them an easy topic of conversation.

When your owner is Jerry Jones, your team is bound to be in the limelight and that's been the case again this offseason. The Dallas Cowboys watched as multiple veteran contributors left town like Tony Pollard, Tyron Smith, and Tyler Biadasz.

Dallas drafted Tyler Guyton and Cooper Beebe to be the two replacements along the offensive line but they re-signed Ezekiel Elliott, bringing him back to the Cowboys on a one-year deal.

Dak Prescott is elated to have Elliott back in the building and couldn't contain his excitement.

Cowboys News: Dak Prescott Loves Having Zeke Back

Prescott met with reporters after practice on June 5 and raved about Elliott being around for the past couple of months. He said, "The (expletive) best" when asked what it's like to have Elliott back.

It doesn't get clearer than that but that shouldn't be surprising coming from Prescott. Both players came into the league together as a part of the Cowboys' 2016 draft class. Elliott was selected with the fourth overall pick. Meanwhile, Prescott went in the fourth round at No. 135 overall.

This duo played together from 2016-2022, logging a combined record of 56-31. During that stretch, Prescott completed 66% of his throws for 22,858 passing yards with 152 passing scores and 55 interceptions. As for Elliott, he notched 8,262 rushing yards, 68 rushing touchdowns and 4.4 yards per carry.

They are looking to recapture some of their past successes on the field this upcoming season. Even though Elliott isn't the same running back he was in his prime, he showcased last year in New England that he could still be a productive tailback. This time around, Prescott needs to shoulder a larger burden like Zeke did early on in their careers.
