Micah Parsons’ Brother Calls Out Cowboy Defender After Deflating Week 3 Loss
Just when you think things can't get worse in Dallas, they do. The Cowboys are on a two-game losing streak and are traveling to play the New York Giants on Thursday Night Football.
Both losses came at home, with the Cowboys failing to slow down the run. After three weeks, Dallas ranks last in the NFL in run defense (185.7). In Week 3, the Baltimore Ravens topped the Cowboys 28-25 and ran all over this group.
The Ravens finished with 274 rushing yards on 45 carries and 6.1 yards per rush. Tensions are high going into Week 4 but Micah Parsons' brother went on social media and called out a Cowboy defender.
Cowboys News: Terrence Parsons Jr. Calls Out Donovan Wilson
On Monday afternoon, Terrence Parsons Jr. went on X and posted, "Watching the film Donovan Wilson shouldn’t take another snap until he wants to play his role."
He blatantly called out starting safety Donovan Wilson for his play in Week 3. Wilson didn't have the best outing in the loss, finishing with six total tackles but it was by far his worst game of the young 2024 season.
The Texas A&M product logged season-lows in overall grade (38) and run defense grade (45) per PFF.
Regardless of having a shaky outing in Week 3, Terrence going on social media and calling him out isn't the way to do things.
First off, he isn't even a player on the roster to be making these kinds of declarations. All that does is create more drama around the team and certainly for his brother.
Secondly, Micah didn't have a good game himself. In Week 3, the Penn State product missed two tackles and posted a season-low 51.6 run defense grade, according to PFF. He even went on X himself to defend his performance from someone who criticized his play.
It's only Week 4 but tensions are high in Dallas. Terrence making this bold statement further showcases that the Cowboys have more than just problems on the field to take care of.
