Christmas came a few months early for Ranger fans with an unforgettable gift that not even Santa can top no matter what he puts under the tree. The moments, memories, and emotions that the 2023 Texas Rangers delivered to the DFW promise to be the gifts that keep on giving as long as we live.

For that reason plenty of Rangers appeared on the nice list this year; far too many to cram into one article. And yet, two people in particular still found a way to bring the vibes down that was 2023 finding themselves on Santa's Rangers naughty list.

So in celebration of the holiday season and the Texas Rangers, here are 3 Rangers on the nice list, and two who are getting coal this Christmas morning.

Nice: Chris Young

The architect of the first World Series in franchise history, Chris Young was the perfect boost this organization needed after years of bad and/or mediocre baseball.

Jon Daniels deserves credit for several guys like Adolis Garcia, Jonah Heim, Josh Jung and Nathaniel Lowe. But Chris Young made things happen that JD did not. Semien, Seager, Eovaldi, and DeGrom in the offseason. Montgomery, Scherzer, and Chapman at the deadline. Bruce Bochy. The list of additions speaks for itself .

CY carved a winning window out of nothing and has the Texas Rangers not only as world champions but primed to compete in the American League for years to come. He is one of the best GMs in the bigs and has been the saving grace for a franchise that was barely treading water.
