Salty Giants Defender Takes Shot at Cowboy Rookie After Week 4 Loss

Even a few days after the loss, a Giants defender still sounds salty.

The Dallas Cowboys are now 2-2 after they secured a 20-15 win over the New York Giants on Thursday Night Football.

The dominance over the G-Men is something that the Cowboys thrive on. Dallas has won seven straight games over New York, including 13 of the last 14 games.

Even though the Cowboys were outgained 303-293 on offense, and lost the time of possession 35:57 to 24:23, the Boys were victorious. And that has to annoy the Giants' organization and fanbase.

The loss is bothering New York so much that a defender took a shot at rookie center Cooper Beebe.

Cowboys News: Dexter Lawrence Takes Jab at Cooper Beebe on Social Media

PFF posted a picture on X, highlighting Beebe's stout performance on Thursday night. In 22 pass-blocking snaps, Beebe didn't allow a single pressure.

Defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence commented on the post and said, "Don’t hype this he know how the game went," with a gif of a chicken delivering a spanking. Lawrence is saying that's what he did to Beebe.

According to NetGenStats, the Cowboys double-teamed Lawrence on 80% of his pass rushes and that ended up paying dividends. They only gave up one sack and kept Dak Prescott upright.

Regardless of what Lawrence is saying on X, his team is 1-3 and the Cowboys are 2-2. He's only beaten Dallas once in his career, so every loss against them strikes a nerve.

In addition, this was his worst game of the season, logging just two tackles, one pressure, and a PFF grade of 61.4.

This comment will certainly be noticed in the locker room and will be a topic of discussion again when the New York Giants visit the Cowboys on Nov. 28.
