The Dallas Cowboys' playoff journey officially begins on Sunday as they face the Green Bay Packers at AT&T Stadium. Dallas is hoping this trip to the postseason will be a long one, and this squad certainly has all the talent to make that dream a reality.

Star quarterback Dak Prescott will be at the center trying to make that happen for the Cowboys following a career year. Some fans have noticed the QB looks a little different on Sunday, though, and there's one big reason why.

What is the Patch Dak Prescott Has on His Playoffs Jersey?

Prescott was named the winner of the NFL's Walter Payton Man of the Year award following the conclusion of the 2022 season. As a result, the league allows him to wear a special patch on his jersey recognizing him for taking home that award. That logo rule was implemented starting in 2017.

The Walter Payton Man of the Year award highlights players who make an impact off the field through philanthropy and community outreach. The Cowboys organization has a strong history with this hardware, as four of their players (Roger Staubach, 1978; Troy Aikman, 1997; Jason Witten, 2012; and Prescott, 2022) have won it before.
