Trevon Diggs Rips Cowboys Coaches in Latest Embarrassing Comments
It hasn't been a good month of October for the Dallas Cowboys. They have dropped two games in a row and own a 3-4 record.
Last week, the San Francisco 49ers outlasted the Cowboys 30-24 on Sunday Night Football. This was Dallas' fourth straight loss to the 49ers, which can't feel good.
In the following days after the game, cornerback Trevon Diggs went on Micah Parsons' podcast "The Edge" and discussed multiple different topics. One of the things they talked about was the loss to the 49ers, where Diggs said the biggest difference was the coaching.
Cowboys News: Trevon Diggs Talks about SNF Loss to 49ers
Diggs thinks that San Francisco came out in the second half and made some great adjustments. Things that the defense couldn't stop.
"I feel like it was their coach. They had great coaching. They adjusted to the things we were running. I felt like everything that they called was just a counter to what we were and it was just like SOL. They got good players. Deebo had a great game, Kittle, hall of fame [tight end], and Purdy is over here doing his thing as well, so you know they got pieces. They got the right pieces so they were executing."

Diggs is giving props to Kyle Shanahan and the 49ers. In the same breath though, he taking some shots at Mike Zimmer and the defensive coaches.
The Cowboys had trouble slowing down the San Francisco offense, as the 49ers logged 469 total yards of offense with 7.3 yards per play. Dallas' defense has regressed this year, ranking 26th in total defense (372.6) but 31st in run defense (154.6) and scoring defense (28.3).
Defense has been a problem all season long and Diggs ended up calling out the coaching staff following Week 8. We'll have to see if they respond, as they travel to play the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday.
