Young Cowboys Player Gives NSFW Reaction After Playing 1st Season With Dak Prescott

One of the Dallas Cowboys' younger players shared quite the NSFW reaction when asked about playing with QB Dak Prescott as a rookie.

A football player's first NFL season is usually a mixed experience, regardless of when a player was drafted (if they were selected at all). Lining up alongside and against the sport's top players can be exciting for rookies. However, it can also be intimidating as players go from being the big man on campus to just another name in the NFL until proven otherwise.

The Cowboys had a handful of rookies debut for them in 2024, including offensive lineman Tyler Guyton. Even though last year's 29th overall selection didn't experience the best rookie season, Dallas coaches and management hope Guyton's best performances are on the horizon.

The ex-Oklahoma blocker recently sat down with "The KnoItAllz Podcast" to discuss his first-year experience, including what it was like playing alongside quarterback Dak Prescott.

Tyler Guyton Gives NSFW Reaction to Playing With Dak Prescott

During his podcast experience, Guyton was asked about what it's like being in a huddle with a QB as experienced as Prescott. Using some NSFW language, the 6-foot-7 offensive tackle couldn't hide how much he loved working with the Cowboys' franchise signal-caller.

"Bro, it's cool as (expletive), Guyton admitted (h/t @Brandoniswrite). I've wanted to be a part of that (offense) for such a long time. Now that I'm a part of it, I get to see (Prescott) deciphering defenses as a quarterback and working with his brain like it's a machine... It's a skill to be able to digress everything that he can do."

Guyton described playing with Prescott as a "surreal" experience, adding that he "appreciates having a quarterback like that" in Dallas' locker room. Fortunately for the 23-year-old protector, the duo's partnership is unlikely to end anytime soon.

After all, Guyton is still only starting his rookie contract, while Prescott recently signed a $240 million extension that'll keep him with the Cowboys through the 2028 season. They'll both become free agents during the following offseason, making it interesting to see if they become inseparable or not by that point.

If Guyton wants to spend more time huddling with Prescott in Year 2, he must step up to avoid being replaced. The Austin, TX native was among Pro Football Focus' lowest-graded starting OTs in 2024, grading poorly when it came to run blocking (51.3, 65th), pass protection (60.2, 60th), and overall offense (49.4, 73rd).

A stronger performance from Guyton and the rest of the Cowboys' offensive line is needed to ensure Prescott plays as much as possible. Injuries limited the three-time Pro Bowl QB to eight starts last season, meaning he's now missed an average of 5.4 games since the start of the 2020 campaign.

Continuing that trend will make it difficult for Dallas to return to the NFL postseason.

Unfortunately, Guyton, Prescott, and the rest of the Cowboys will face an uphill battle toward that goal. FanDuel Sportsbook is currently listing America's Team's projected win total at 7.5 victories while favoring the Under at -120 odds — an implied probability of 54.6%.
