Dallas Cowboys: The Excitement Builds
With only two weeks left until the NFL Draft excitement is building across the NFL and the Dallas Cowboys and their fans are no exception.
The start of free agency signals the start of the new season in the NFL, and the Dallas Cowboys and their fans are hoping for another special season. Once free agency has started to die down, the excitement for the season starts to wane.
With the NFL Draft the excitement builds back up and from that point forward, a clear picture of what a team will be starts to form.
The Dallas Cowboys are now only two weeks away from the NFL Draft and fans and experts are all abuzz with predictions, guesses, and shots in the dark on what will take place. All sorts of players have been projected to the Cowboys from tight ends, to defensive ends, to safeties, cornerbacks and even some have projected trades either up or down.
While right now no one knows for sure what will happen, the one thing everyone can agree on is after the draft, hopes will be high for the Dallas Cowboys of 2017-2018. It doesn’t matter who the Cowboys select in the draft, the expectations are the Cowboys will be Super Bowl contenders. Sure, the Dallas Cowboys have holes they need to fill, but rest assured at least some of them will be filled.
We as fans, experts, analysts will probably not agree on all of the draft picks. Everyone has their “pet cats”, their favorites, their wants and desires. Some people base this on experience, others on film footage, some on the combine, some on what conference or school in which they played.

Relax, we won’t all agree. I am sure even us here at Sports DFW will disagree on the picks, even among us.
What will happen is we will all try to figure out how the new players will fit with the Dallas Cowboys. The hope of them becoming stars or at least major contributors will fill conversation. Once the mini-camps start up and then training camp gets rolling, it will all be conjecture. But hope, hope will survive and prevail.
Even during preseason, hope for all teams will still be fairly high. Regardless of how the Dallas Cowboys perform in the preseason the hope will be that they will remain Super Bowl contenders.
So with two weeks left, hope and excitement is building for the draft. It will remain high for months until the season gets under way.
