Without a sixth round pick for the Cowboys names like James Lynch, Raequan Williams, and Robert Landers will all probably pass them by. In the last round three names that might pop up are Garrett Marino, Robert Windsor, and Mike Panasiuk. For fit, Panasiuk is far and away the best of the three as the other two hover around 285 pounds.

Panasiuk is an absolute house of a human and is hard to bully around on the line. If the Cowboys are serious about adding more size to the defensive front and have a true run stuffing defensive tackle, Panasiuk is exactly that, and may be one of the best run stuffing defensive tackles in the draft. With a powerful base, strong hands, and the ability to eat blocks, he would be an almost instant rotational player in obvious run situations.

The downside is he should not be asked to rush the passer. He does not have a lot of moves if he can’t simple bull someone over, and doesn’t have the speed to get home often if he does break free. He has the tools to be better than he is, but for now he is a run stopper that any team would love to have. He has potential so he can be drafted with an understanding he can possibly develop to be more than that.
