NFL Draft 2021: Dallas Cowboys select enormous WR Simi Fehoko
Another offensive player falls off the board, as the Dallas Cowboys selected Stanford wide receiver Simi Fehoko. The young wideout brings plenty of intangibles to a team already stacked on offense.
The Dallas Cowboys struck again, as the team drafted Stanford wide receiver Simi Fehoko.
It is no wonder the Dallas Cowboys are ranked as one of the top tier offensive leagues, this is all in thanks to the young core the team has. Currently on the roster, the team has Dak Prescott who is 27, Ezekiel Elliott who is 25 and receiver CeeDee Lamb who is 22. Now, add 21 year-old Kehoko and the team’s future seems bright.
The Stanford star put up excellent numbers for the Cardinals, over the past three seasons. Last season, the wide-out had 37 receptions to go with 574 yards and three touchdowns. His best game came in his final regular season finally where he had 16 receptions for 230 yards and three touchdowns. His longest catch was 45 yard reception.
The numbers still don’t stand out to you? Well just look at his ability as a receiver. At the combine he ran the 40 yard dash in 4.42 seconds. He also came in at 222 pounds.

Some of his key skills include his ability to run past his defenders and his keen eyesight to find open plays down field. I tell you, Twitter fans cannot stop raving about this guy’s speed and 6’4 height. He has drawn similar comparisons to 2009 draftee Marco Mitchell.
However, there is some concerns that must not be overlooked.
First off, his quick foot can cause trouble for him at times as he has the ability to sometimes to tripped up in big moments down field. Another key concern is his inability to block defenders downfield and lack of skilled mechanics when running down the field.
While Fehoko is no Dez Bryant or Amari Cooper, he can be used in a variety of ways as Dallas seemed to struggle finding a fourth receiver option down field.
His ability to spread the field and get open down field, will be something Prescott will enjoy having.
