The Dallas Cowboys' already embarrassing season took an even bleaker turn on Sunday. After suffering a disastrous 34-6 loss to the Eagles, the Cowboys are 3-6 with no hopes of making the postseason.

As had been the case all year, more drama ensued after the defeat. Star receiver CeeDee Lamb, coming off his worst performance of the year without Dak Prescott, missed an easy touchdown pass because he couldn't see the ball due to the sunlight's reflection from stadium windows.

After the game, Jones was asked why he wouldn't put up curtains, which he answered with a ridiculous response: "Well let’s tear the damn stadium down and build another one? Are you kidding me?"

Lamb, however, thinks Jones needs to do something, as evidenced by his comments on the matter.

The frustrating part of this all is that there are already blackout curtains that are used for almost every other event hosted at the stadium. However, Jones cares more about the visuals and how the stadium looks during the broadcast and for the fans rather than winning on the field.

"Everybody has got the same thing. Every team that comes in here has the same issues. I’m saying, the world knows where the sun is. You get to know that almost a year in advance. Someone asked me about the sun. What about the sun? Where’s the moon?"

Jerry Jones

Lamb and Jones already have a contentious relationship. The All-Pro receiver had a contract holdout in the offseason that dragged longer than it should have because of the sides' constant back-and-forth. Lamb also criticized the organization earlier in the season for their insistence on holding facility tours for the fans, stating that it was a distraction for the players.

Stadium curtains may sound like the least of the Cowboys' worries right now but it is the perfect example of how Jerry Jones' hubris hurts the team.
