After only scoring nine points in an embarrassing Week 6 loss to the Detroit Lions, it's clear that the Dallas Cowboys need help. Dak Prescott is one of the NFL's top quarterbacks, however, there's only so much he can do when his only (healthy) weapons are CeeDee Lamb, Jake Ferguson, and one of the league's worst running back rooms.

On Monday, Prescott seemingly put pressure on the Cowboys management by saying that it's "up to the front office" to decide if they want to bring in another playmaker. Hopeful Dallas fans wouldn't mind something like when the Cowboys acquired wideout Amari Cooper during their 2018 bye week before closing the regular season with a 7-2 record en route to a Divisional Round appearance.

Even though the Cowboys can't land Cooper or Davante Adams this time around, they do have some intriguing WR trade options ahead of the Nov. 5 deadline.

Dallas Cowboys WR Trade Targets

1. Tyler Boyd

After spending his first eight seasons with the Cincinnati Bengals, Tyler Boyd joined the Tennessee Titans on a one-year deal this offseason. Stuck behind the likes of Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins in Cincinnati, the veteran wideout was hoping that a move to Tennessee would yield more opportunities.

Instead, things haven't gone as planned. The Titans are positioned to be sellers after going 1-4 through their first five games and Boyd was mostly invisible during that stretch, catching 13 balls for 127 receiving yards without a touchdown.

While those aren't the most eye-popping stats, the lackluster production isn't all on Boyd. Only the New England Patriots have a worse passing attack than the Titans this season. Joining the Cowboys, who average 259.3 passing yards per game (3rd) could help the 29-year-old pass-catcher rediscover his mojo.

We also know that Jerry Jones loves to save money, so it's a good thing that Boyd's cap hit only sits at $2.4 million this season and will be even lower at the deadline. That's a fairly solid price for a wideout with over 6,100 receiving yards and 31 TDs under his belt.

2. Mike Williams

With Davante Adams joining a WR room that already features the likes of Garrett Wilson and Allen Lazard, the New York Jets no longer have a need for Mike Williams. The rest of the NFL seems to know that given that teams are already reportedly contracting the Jets about the veteran wideout's service, per NFL insider Dianna Russini.

Williams, 30, likely wouldn't mind a trade after his Jets tenure has gotten off to a slow start. The ex-Clemson wideout has only caught 10-of-17 targets for 145 receiving yards without a TD, meaning a move to Dallas might be in his best interest.

Williams is a receiver who can help Prescott take the top off opposing defenses to open up the field. Playing at AT&T Stadium could also bring out the best that the experienced WR has to offer given that he averages more receiving yards per game in domed environments (57.8) than he does outdoors (49.4).

Furthermore, Williams' salary cap hit ($2.7 million) is also more than affordable if the Cowboys are hesitant to break the bank.

With Brandin Cooks sidelined for the foreseeable future, Williams would be the perfect veteran playmaker to pair alongside Lamb.
