We are six weeks into the NFL season and the Dallas Cowboys are embroiled in a ton of drama once again. Sitting at 3-3 with three devastating home losses to start the season, the Cowboys have an uphill battle as they try to get back on track.

Whether it's through a coaching change or a trade, it's obvious that the Cowboys need to make some tough decisions to salvage this season. By throwing his support behind his head coach, Dak Prescott made clear where he stands on Mike McCarthy. Then, he hinted at a potential deal by the trade deadline, putting the ball on Jerry Jones' court.

According to The Athletic's Jon Machota, the star quarterback referenced the 2018 Cowboys in his remarks. That team had started the season similarly poor before finishing 10-6 and making the postseason. One big change after the 3-5 start was the trade to bring in Amari Cooper during the bye week.

Cowboys News: Dak Prescott Hints at a Potential Trade

Prescott shied away from explicitly demanding that the front office make a move. In fact, he showed mature leadership by naming Jalen Tolbert and Brandin Cooks and saying he has "a lot of confidence" in the guys in the locker room.

"However, that's up to the front office. You know what I mean. I've got a lot of confidence in the guys we've got in the locker room, young guys coming on"

Yet, the fact that Prescott named two wide receivers while saying the decision was "up to the front office" could be interpreted as him putting pressure on the Cowboys' top brass. Whether Jerry Jones feels the same way and goes "all-in" as he promised before the season remains to be seen.
