Cowboys Star Defender's Injury Is Much Worse Than Initially Thought
It has been a very shaky couple of weeks for the Dallas Cowboys. The Cowboys are 3-4 on the season, and their last victory came on Oct. 6 over the Pittsburgh Steelers. Dallas has dropped two games in a row and has a crucial contest against the Atlanta Falcons coming up on Sunday.
The pressure is on for Dallas to win this contest and get back into the win column. It already appears the Cowboys will be without Micah Parsons for the fourth straight game. Now on Friday, Jerry Jones revealed some bad news about Trevon Diggs.
Cowboys News: Trevon Diggs Has Tear in His Calf
Jones had his weekly appearance on 105.3 The Fan, and he said that Diggs has a tear in his calf. He hasn't practiced all week after it was announced on Wednesday that he was dealing with an undisclosed injury.
With the injury being revealed on Friday, it doesn't bode well for the Alabama product. He was listed as a DNP for both Wednesday and Thursday's practice. Diggs told reporters he was dealing with calf tightness but he didn't sound concerned.
"It was a little sore coming out of the game. Probably one of the plays I got hit or something. I’m getting treatment and working through it."

The severity of the injury still isn't public knowledge but this isn't what the Cowboys need. They just activated DaRon Bland off IR and he's expected to make his season debut on Sunday.
While Dallas gets one star defender back on the field, another one may be on the sideline. Hopefully, Diggs can give it a go on Sunday but he won't be 100% and that may be difficult to overcome against a talented Falcons offense.
