We took a look at the most overrated members of the 2023 Dallas Cowboys earlier this week. But the Cowboys season wasn't all doom and gloom. There were plenty of individual performances that exceeded expectations or went under the radar.

Here are the most underrated Cowboys from the 2023-24 NFL season.

1. Jake Ferguson

A fourth-round pick becoming the best tight end in a Cowboys uniform since Jason Witten only in his second season. Who could have seen this coming?

Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb had career seasons and deserve all the praise, even with the first-round collapse against the Green Bay Packers. Yet, Jake Ferguson's impact on the offense generally goes under the radar.

Remember the beginning of the season when tight end was seen as a potential weakness on the team after Dalton Schultz's departure? Well, Ferguson not only stepped up in his first season as TE1 but also outplayed Schultz, who had a decent season for the Houston Texans.

Finishing with 71 catches, 761 yards, and five touchdowns while showing an impressive ability to find open gaps and break tackles, he deserved his Pro Bowl selection. It's time people outside of Dallas knew how special the 24-year-old is.
