The Dallas Cowboys decided to finally wake up with the regular season starting next week. After having constant drama surrounding the organization this offseason, they eventually ended CeeDee Lamb's holdout.

They gave him a massive extension, making him the second-highest-paid receiver in the league. Dallas is keeping their foot on the gas, as they have Dalvin Cook coming to town for a visit but they aren't done.

Cowboys News: Tyus Bowser Will Meet with Dallas

According to ESPN's Todd Archer, the Cowboys are going to meet with defensive end Tyus Bowser. Dallas is looking for more juice off the EDGE and they are tapping into the free agent market.

Bowser tore his Achilles in 2021 before undergoing knee surgery in the 2022 offseason. Those two injuries cost him the past two seasons and he's looking to bounce back this year.

Prior to the injuries, Bowser was quick off the edge with the athleticism to wreak havoc behind the line of scrimmage.

In his six-year NFL career with the Baltimore Ravens, Bowser has logged 152 total tackles, 22 tackles for loss, and 19.5 sacks.

Although he may not be the player he was before the injuries, Bowser can still be a productive NFL player if he's healthy.

At the end of the day, Micah Parsons is the driving force of this defensive line and will draw double teams. That would allow other defensive linemen to have one-on-one opportunities.

If the meeting goes well, Bowser will have a chance to be in the Lone Star state for the 2024 season.
