The Dallas Cowboys are still desperately looking for running back depth as they still haven't replaced the departed Tony Pollard. The running back rotation was already one of the weaker aspects of the Cowboys roster last season and now that they have lost their best rusher, it has got even more questionable.

Fortunately for Cowboys fans, there are still intriguing running backs available on the market. One of them is former Baltimore Raven J.K. Dobbins. The 25-year-old is reportedly healthy, passed his physicals, and is expected to take visits soon, according to Tom Pelissero.

Perfect Cowboys FA Target J.K. Dobbins is Still Available

Dobbins had a star-crossed NFL career so far. After bursting onto the scene as a second-round pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, Dobbins was considered one of the best young rushers in the game.

Things, however, never went right for him after his impressive rookie season. He missed the entirety of his second year with a torn ACL, part of his third year with a knee injury, and almost the entirety of last season with a torn Achilles. As a result, he has only played in eight games over the last three seasons.

The intriguing part about him is that, he still looked great when he suited up. Even coming off a torn ACL in 2022, he finished with 520 rushing yards in eight games, averaging a whopping 5.7 yards per carry.

At this stage of his career, Dobbins will receive a one-year, "prove-it" sort of deal, making him the perfect low-risk, high reward target. If he manages to stay healthy, he has the ability to be a big difference maker to the Cowboys.
