The Dallas Cowboys are 2-2 heading into Week 5. After dropping two games in a row, Dallas secured a 20-15 win over the New York Giants on the road.

But not everything was all good for the Boys. In that game, Micah Parsons went down with a high-ankle sprain. In addition to that, DeMarcus Lawrence hurt his foot and is dealing with a Lisfranc injury.

He's expected to miss four to eight weeks and will land on the IR in the coming days. With Lawrence out, the Cowboys have revealed their plan at defensive end.

Cowboys News: Cowboys Have Plan to Weather Loss of DeMarcus Lawrence

Per David Moore of the Dallas Morning News, Lawrence will be put on injured reserve this week. Conversations are still being had but the Cowboys will elevate Carl Lawson to the active roster and bring in multiple players for workouts.

Losing Lawrence will definitely be felt on the field. He leads the team in tackles for loss (4) and sacks (3) with 14 total tackles.

With Lawrence and Parsons dealing with injuries, everyone will need to step up. Especially Lawson, who was signed by the team in August. In his career with the Cincinnati Bengals and New York Jets, the Auburn product has 69 solo tackles, 28 tackles for loss, and 27 sacks.

On the open market, there aren't many others out there. That puts Dallas in a difficult position, but injuries are a part of the game. You have to weather the storm and hope the depth you built throughout the offseason holds it down.
