Much to the fans' dismay, the Dallas Cowboys largely kept quiet this offseason, standing pat in free agency. Most of their additions to the roster came through the 2024 NFL Draft. This puts more pressure on the rookie class to come in and contribute immediately.

Fortunately for the Cowboys, their top rookie looks ready to make an excellent first impression. The first-round pick of Dallas, offensive tackle Tyler Guyton is already putting in the work and impressing the organization.

According to Michael Gehlken of Dallas Morning News, Guyton was in a hurry to jumpstart his NFL career. Instead of reveling in the huge accomplishment of making the league, the rookie immediately rented an Airbnb near the team facilities before the rookie minicamp started and got to work.

"Rather than languish there before rookies reported Thursday, he packed up his belongings and commuted to an Airbnb not far from the Cowboys’ practice facility. Private offensive line coach Duke Manyweather runs his OL Masterminds program a block from team headquarters out of the Sports Academy."

Stating that he didn't want to "sit at home for two weeks", the Oklahoma standout went to Duke Manyweather's OL Masterminds program to work on his technique. He trained with Eagles tackle Lane Johnson and Manyweather there to help his adjustment to the NFL.

Previously, fellow Cowboys offensive linemen including Zack Martin, Brock Hoffman, and Tyler Smith, had attended Manyweather's program.

The Cowboys need Guyton to get up to speed quickly. After losing Tyron Smith in free agency, they are counting on Guyton to start at left tackle. The 22-year-old prospect played at right tackle in Oklahoma, so he will need some time to adjust.

At 6'8 and 325 pounds and nimble feet, Guyton clearly has the physical profile to be an elite offensive lineman. It's nice to see him putting in the work to reach his potential.
