After the Dallas Cowboys' embarrassing loss to the Green Bay Packers on Sunday, the time has come for everyone involved to take a look in the mirror and figure out where they went wrong. This obviously includes the defensive coordinator Dan Quinn, whose defensive units completely collapsed and allowed Jordan Love to carve them up all game. However, it looks like Quinn will be too busy to do that as he already has four interviews for head coaching jobs lined up for this week.

Despite Playoff Collapse, Quinn Remains A Top Head Coach Candidate

Quinn managed to put together one of the best defensive units in the NFL all season, ranking in the top-five in both points and yards allowed. However, his secondary that carried the Cowboys' defense all year abandoned Quinn when it mattered the most. Yet, this doesn't seem to have dissuaded teams in need of a new head coach.

According to reports, Quinn is going to meet with the Panthers, Titans, Commanders, and Chargers this week. While there has been speculation about the Seahawks' interest, that hasn't materialized so far.

Quinn's record as an NFL head coach is a mixed bag. He impressively led the Atlanta Falcons to the Super Bowl in 2016, but oversaw the worst collapse in Super Bowl history. He failed to replicate that success for the rest of his tenure as he was fired five games into his sixth season. He has a 43-42 record as a head coach.

Ever since he became a defensive coordinator for the Cowboys, he received plenty of interest around the league. This was certainly warranted as he took one of the most porous defenses in the league and turned them into a juggernaut over the last few seasons. Even though there were interview requests from other teams, Quinn chose to stay in Dallas time and time again.

Whether that will be the case again remains to be seen. It might be hard for the Cowboys to bring back the same coaching staff after yesterday's disgraceful effort, so the chances of Quinn departing might be higher than it has been previously.
