The Dallas Cowboys have had a very underwhelming offseason. After winning 12 games for the third straight season, the Cowboys failed to move past the first round last season.

Instead of supplementing the roster, owner Jerry Jones decided it was better to let key free agents like Tyron Smith, Tony Pollard, and Stephon Gilmore leave town.

They also failed to extend guys like CeeDee Lamb, which has led to the star receiver taking things to the next level.

Now Gilmore is set to take a free-agent visit on Monday.

NFL News: Stephon Gilmore Is Going To Visit the Minnesota Vikings

Gilmore told Josina Anderson that he's flying to Minnesota on Sunday and is going to visit the Vikings on Monday.

On Friday, the Cowboys and Vikings just agreed to swap corners Nahshon Wright and Andrew Booth Jr.

Now Minnesota may be adding another corner from Dallas' 2023 secondary. Gilmore joined the Cowboys last year and he stepped up massively. When Trevon Diggs went down with a torn ACL, the five-time Pro Bowler held things down in the backend.

He suited up in all 17 games, logging 68 total tackles, 13 pass deflections, and one forced fumble. In addition, Gilmore finished with a 74.4 overall grade per PFF and had an 83.3 passer rating allowed in coverage.

The 33-year-old can still be a starter in this league and the Vikes may be his next home. The Cowboys have a great duo in Diggs and DaRon Bland so bringing back Gilmore hasn't in the cards for them.

But now the ex-Cowboy may be joining Dallas' conference foe.
